We were staying around the corner for the night. We were really hungry and thought a buffet would be something different and easy. Well we couldn't have been more disappointed. The selection was very limited and I can't say that any of it was good. None of the food was labeled and some quite a mystery. They actually had several cakes on the dessert table still in the plastic containers from the grocery store. A gentleman who appeared to be the owner was not in the least bit friendly to us. Our service was adequate although when we were leaving I noticed a salad bar off in an area we could not see, It would have been nice to have been told as some greens would have helped. All the vegetables, rice and potatoes were old, crusty and not the least bit appealing. Had we looked first at the food available, we would have left immediately and gone elsewhere. Lesson learned..

Smells like a school cafeteria. The service is reasonable for a buffet, but they were all slightly moody. When asked for a cup of coffee the waitress said, "Okay" and then never returned. The food was decent. None of the items were labeled. I had salad, corn bread, mini fried shrimp, fresh pickles, pickled okra, stewed okra, and collard greens.

My husband is a sucker for all you can eat, so when we checked into a hotel close by, he insisted we eat here. It wasn't bad but wasn't great either. They seemed to be out of several options at the buffet and instead of refilling, replaced them with more of what was already out there. The chicken was a little dry. The fried okra was decent but ever few bites tasted stale. I will say the Mac and cheese and sweet potatoes were both delicious. For the price, it wasn't bad. Our server was sweet but they seemed understaffed.

What a wonderful family friendly restaurant. Fresh homemade food buffet style or off the menu. The best service.

Frightening and awful. Sullen oppressed looking workers fill steam trays with objects shaped like food but with the taste of shit. I kept putting out the good vibe thinking I could get one - just one look back that wasn't saying, "go home" but no dice. I'm tatted up and I was shocked that the waitress had more tattoos than teeth. Bad food. Angry front end staff. Apparent slave labor rowing the ship. Nasty.

Technically qualifies as food. I should have read yelp before coming. Would have passed. The unsweet sweet tea was good and the waitresses nice so give it two stars for that. At 14 dollars for buffet over 12 you can do better just about anywhere else that serves packaged food.

If you don't like flavorful food, this is the best place. Food was bland and the fly's were everywhere. Several items on the salad bar was over filled and had a fly sitting on the food, disgusting taco meat and cabbage. SUGGESTION:: GET RID OF THE FLY'S AND SEASON YOUR FOOD. THE BEST THING ON THE BAR WAS THE CHEESECAKE. NEVER STOPPING HERE AGAIN

Worst buffet ever. Food was not fresh at all nor was it warm. Empty dishes were not replenished. Steak over cooked. Golden Corral does better.

This is your typical travel stop comfort food buffet on the cheap! The food quality is what's expected for an all you can eat buffet that includes steak and seafood 14.95 for adults. The good thing is the staff is real friendly and helpful, i reported that some one have abused the men's room to the waitress and in two minutes the manager himself had it cleaned and thanked me for letting them know!!! Hey you don't get that kind of service in a lot of places any more.

If you think this food is good, then you really need to go out more. It's not even good for being cheap. I only gave this place one star because you have to.

My kids like to eat here whenever we are that way on I-10. I love that it is right off of the interstate and the buffet means a quick in and out. The wait staff is always friendly and the food, though not gourmet, is fresh, hot, and tasty. A much better travel meal option than fast food.

"Steakhouse"??? What a joke! Food is terrible!! They lie & tell you they have oysters until you sit down & order your drinks, then you find out "there are no more". Your arms will stick to the filthy tables, you won't get a waitress to your table for fifteen minutes. The steak is tasteless & as tough as leather. The vegetables are canned... Mold on their ceiling tiles. The place is a disgrace! Must be paying off the health inspector. Skip this place or you will not be skipping many trips to the bathroom.

Do not let the name fool you, this is NOT a steak house. It is basically a seniors buffet with overcooked rice , bland canned vegs and other hospital / cafeteria favorites. This is a clean restaurant with friendly staff and the food is ok if you have been driving for hours with two small kids like we were and absolutely starving. I turned down offers to go to nearby Waffle House and Sonic because I read a Yelp reviewer who described the food as "good country fare". It is not that. It's the school lunch you threw away in 1984. I would skip this place and head on down the road or choke down some Waffle House.

Great country food at a reasonable price and always fresh. The fried catfish is out of this world! I eat here once a week and am always treated with friendly and attentive service.
